hi, this is dr. hourglass, and welcome toanother video in our channel wonder breasts. today we are going to discuss breast implantsbottoming out. in this channel we discuss everything relatedto breast surgery. welcome back. if you are considering cosmetic surgery to enhance your breasts, or if you have already had plastic surgery on your breasts, there is one thing that will happen to every patient who undergoes breast augmentation with implants too big for their anatomy. this complication is called bottoming out. so what is bottoming out?

an implant is typically placed at the center of the breast. with time the implant will settle, which is normal. but if the patient has an implant that is very big and heavy, or they have poor skin elasticity, the implant will continue to descend with time. in this diagram, you see where the implant was placed during surgery. the implant is right at the center of the breast. with time, the implant will descend. this increases the distance between the nipple and the inframammary fold. the other reason for implants bottoming out is poor skin tone.

the internal structures of the breast can be damaged by time, genetics, smoking, previous surgery, and thinning of the breast tissue, among other things. the implant has some weight and the skin is holding the implant in place; if skin elasticity is poor, the implant’s weight stretches the skin over time, allowing the implant to descend into an incorrect anatomical place. in this picture, you can see the patient with an implant in the right anatomical place, right at the middle of the breast. in this next picture, you see how the breast has bottomed out with loss of fullness on top, resulting in a more prominent inferior pole of the breast.

so here's after one month of usingnaturaful. well actually, a little bit more than a month as life gets crazy and ifinished off my jar before being able to get a new one. so there's a bit of a gapand when i've been using it. here's the empty jar. as you can see,there's been a lot of progress made. recently i- so i started out as a 28 dcup with like, no cleavage and i recently bought a new bra that is a 28 double d and not long after having it, it was clear that i needed to go up a size. based on my most recent measurements, i should be wearing a 28 f bra which is crazy! and keep in mind the f sounds huge but it ison the twenty-eight band size so it's all relative but still, it's a hugeimprovement from where i was. so i'm really happy with the results so far andi'm really excited to keep using this product.
